□ Personality: Feferi comes off as a cute, bubbly seatroll with a penchant for fishpuns and thinking outside of the box. She's extremely excitable and no matter what the situation is (whether it's searching for Gamzee, or just talking about feelings), she presents herself as ready, willing, and happy to help. She keeps cuttlefish and makes her home out to be a sanctuary for sea creatures, reflecting her generally caring and sweet nature. That's just the surface, though.

Feferi is the Heiress to the highest part of troll society. Aside from her still-living ancestor, Her Imperious Condescension, she is the only troll who possesses Tyrian-colored blood. Blood to trolls determines both their ranks in society AND their lifespans. Feferi tends to the lusus that formerly raised the Condesce and thus must keep her calm in order to prevent her from destroying the entire planet.

What does tending to her lusus have to do with how she is portrayed? W)(AL-E! Gl'bgolyb is essentially a prophecy-speaking Horrorterror. She whispers to Feferi occasionally and can tell her of the world's end and even the things that she is supposedly destined to do. Gl'bgolyb said that she would do wonderful things on the throne, and unlike the Condesce, Feferi thinks quite differently from her predecessor. This being that Feferi would rather unite the sea and land-dwelling races instead of discriminating against the latter as demonstrated in the times before her. In a particularly savage society, this type of thinking is very dangerous and only makes her more of a target for those who disagree with her.

However, she doesn't really let that bother her. Despite appearing to be a benevolent figure, Feferi has no problem flaunting her position on the ladder to others. While she insists that she's no better than any other troll, she still tends to throw her title around for the sake of making a point. Mostly because they can't do much about it and... She's really rather naive. Naive to the point where some may call her delusional when it comes to the standards that she holds. Initially, she is the only troll who believes that the humans are the key to winning their session while everyone else thinks she's just being totally crazy. But really she's just speaking her mind and being passionate about what she thinks is right and wrong, worrying about the consequences when and if they should happen-- canon text even mentions that while she's been told of the end of the world, her lusus knows she has "big plans" for the throne and will be a kind ruler, so "Maybe not all prophecies are meant to come true". She even tries to convince the genocide-savvy Eridan that land-dwellers aren't all that bad and everyone should just get along. However, it can come off as trying to force others out of their norm.

Which brings me to the next point. Feferi is a teenage girl and therefore has very teenage moodswings. The Condesce is known for being a ruthless ruler and while Feferi strays away from that, she tends to get angry or frustrated very easily when someone doesn't understand her (ie: Eridan). While she is certainly fun-loving and generally happy, when she's serious, she wants to make sure that the person she's addressing understands. She even drops her quirk in the middle of talking to Eridan just to get her point across to him regarding why his ideals are wrong and hers are right. She also has a way of being rather snippy or sarcastic even when it's pretty uncalled for-- but then she can just as easily go back to her silly, glubby self. She doesn't mean to sound like she's being mean to anyone, but she has a lot of baggage that tends to leak out into the open when she gets frustrated. You would too if you were the teenage heiress to an empire where you could be assassinated at any time...................

Her opinions are strong because they have to be, as with her personality and being capable to speak for and against others. She has a lot on her plate, even with the impending doom to her race that she knows is coming. Her connection to the Horrorterrors and death make her rather casual about the whole thing. She knows everyone is going to die at some point no matter how much she cares about them and tries to change society. Hell, in order to BE the Empress, she has to duel the Condesce and kill her for the throne. The only reason she hasn't been assassinated by her ancestor is because of her lusus' protection. Compared to some of the other more death-oriented characters like Aradia and Rose, this nonchalant attitude towards eventual demise is pretty minor. But for a character who is so happy and prides herself in being kind, it's really incredibly creepy. Take just kissing Sollux's corpse, for example. Most of the trolls/other characters who do this to revive a teammate get apprehensive and think it's pretty gross, but she just grabs him and goes with it. This goes along with her being the Witch of Life. As a God Tier character, she is responsible for manipulating life and death. So... It's really not that far off base that she'd be like that.

Feferi's character comes around to much bigger things than just The Little Troll Mermaid. Her thoughts and feelings on matters are generally well-meant, but can come off as poor in execution. Sure, she's nice and has some great ideals, but it's taking her responsibilities and making everyone understand them that's hard. Her heart is big, and her words are loud. She'll love and care for her friends, but cross her and she'll make glubbin' sure that you regret it!!

□ Age: 13 in the terms of Alternian-to-Earth Solar Years. Alternian society, however, is rather savage and requires the young of her species to be able to thrive and function like an adult at a very early age. For simplicity's sake, she will be physically aged up to 18.
□ Gender: Female.
□ Appearance:
Physically, all trolls have gray skin, yellow sclera, horns, irises that fill in with their blood color at a certain age, and gills/fins if they live in the water. Feferi's body will still be that of a troll, but she will be taller (standing at perhaps 5'5'') and her body will fill out like that of any shown adult troll. Her breasts will be vestigial. This is NOT entirely canon. However the Condesce is shown with pretty obvious chesticles, and trolls are not mammals. So what purpose do they serve other than aesthetics? Troll genitals are also not really discussed in canon, but per the rules, she will have a human vagina.

ANYWAY... Her height is rather average, she has long, wispy hair that's fairly well-maintained with two inward-bowing horns on top, and her build is that of a willowy kind of swimmer. She has fins that sits on either side of her face and sharp teeth like those of a shark. She dresses rather gaudily for a troll, but then again, she's royalty! She wears a tank-top style shirt with the Pieces symbol emblazoned on it with her blood color, a multicolored skirt, a tiara and all kinds of necklaces and jewelry. She also wears a pair of Tyrian purple-colored goggles for style!

□ Abilities/Powers: Unlike lower-blooded trolls, Feferi lacks psychic abilities. The only psychic connection she has is with her Lusus. However, she's a very talented swimmer, has a knowledge of sea life, and is pretty handy with a trident.
